The Forgotten Child
Synopsis
Grieving the death of her fiancé, Marie Birchard accepts a final chance to keep her job—an assignment cataloguing a private library in a crumbling Highland manor near Glencoe. But the manor is more than abandoned; it is alive with whispers, disappearances, and a history buried in grief. Staying at a nearby bothy run by an elderly couple who insist their ill son must not be disturbed, Marie soon discovers the truth: the son is long dead, the house is haunted, and some spirits refuse to move on. As Marie descends into the mansion’s dark past, she is forced to confront the question she has avoided since the crash: does she still want to live? Or has something been waiting for her all along?
