Marco Di Chio is dedicated to the art of poetry and horror literature. His work embodies a unique blend of lyrical prowess and gripping storytelling that resonates with readers. Join him as he delves into the darker sides of the human experience.
Marco Di Chio is an Italian-born poet and author whose work blends the precision of classical form with the immediacy of modern storytelling. Raised in Verona amid the city’s operatic heritage, Marco developed a lifelong love for rhythm, language, and the power of imagery. His writing, rooted in iambic meter, moves effortlessly between lyrical intimacy and vivid, narrative horror, capturing the full spectrum of human experience.
Now based in Glasgow for more than a decade, he draws inspiration from both urban and natural landscapes, as well as music, history, and personal memory. IAMBIC, his latest collection, showcases his distinctive voice: disciplined in craft, rich in emotion, and unafraid to explore beauty, darkness, and everything in between.
Marco is awaiting the publication of The Forgotten Child and is already at work on a continuation of The Hundred Rooms cycle, first published in IAMBIC, as well as a new horror novel scheduled for completion in 2026.
